Quality Control Engineer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to help us maintain the highest standards in our software products and services. By implementing rigorous testing and following industry best practices, you’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability and excellence for our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure delivering solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Analyze use cases/requirements and provide solution recommendations.
  • Create detailed test cases based on user requirements, technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression and system testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance of the delivered solutions.
  • Write and execute SQL queries/scripts.
  • Identify, log and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive testing reports.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing functional inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and discussing UAT scope.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent is required
  • (1-2) years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
  • Banking knowledge
  • SQL
  • Test Automation (Plus)
  • API Testing (Plus)
  • ISTQB FL certification (Plus)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary
  • Understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
