How it All Started

Dr Ismail Ali and Sherif Fouad joined forces to found CARITech. Armed with vast experiences in global digital technologies and a clear vision of how this insight could benefit the financial industry, the founders set out to establish an environment where innovation, teamwork, and expertise can thrive.

Dr. Ismail Ali

Chief Executive Officer

Ismail Ali specializes in driving business growth through technology modernization, with over 20 years of experience in financial technology. He has led global operations in retail, corporate, and Islamic banking, focusing on emerging markets. Ismail holds an MBA, a Doctorate in Business Management, and has completed a program at Harvard Business School. He has also published research on Islamic banking and technology.

Charles Savage

Vice President, Sales & Alliances

Charles Savage is a seasoned business consultant and global sales executive with expertise in Payments, Core Processing, and Delivery Technologies. As VP of Sales and Alliances at CARITech since 2021, he drives sales strategies, forms key partnerships, and boosts revenue growth. Previously, he spent 16 years as Head of International Enterprise Solutions at Finastra, expanding market share in fintech across emerging markets. Charles holds a BA from Wright State University and has held leadership roles at Kirchman Corporation and NCR Corporation.

Sherine Aly

Director, Business Excellence

Sherine leads CARITech’s Business Excellence, overseeing Human Capital and Marketing Communication, fostering an innovative, customer-focused culture. With over 30 years of leadership experience, she drives business insights and operational efficiency through data. Before joining CARITech, Sherine held key roles at Orascom Technology, Centra Technologies, and ITS, contributing to their rapid growth. She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University and is a certified Project Manager (PMP), Business Analysis Professional, and ISO 9001:2000 Auditor.

Manal Zayed

General Manager, Egypt

Manal, General Manager of Egypt at CARITech since 2020, has excelled in growing and managing the full IT and software lifecycle. With extensive experience across banking and telecommunications, she focuses on driving growth through strategic alliances. Before CARITech, Manal held leadership roles at CAPMAS, Orascom, RS2 Software, and ITS, contributing to their expansion. She holds an MBA from Ain Shams University, is a certified project manager (PMP), and is an Advanced Certified International Trainer from the Management Institute of Canada.
