DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at CARITech. The suitable candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment workflows, ensuring our processes are both reliable and scalable

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Azure DevOps (TFS) including:
    o Repository creation and access control
    o Branching strategy, pull requests, and code reviews
    o Build and release pipeline setup and troubleshooting
  • Support CI/CD processes for on-premises deployment
  • Handle container packaging (Docker)
  • Automate manual tasks and improve pipeline efficiency
  • Collaborate with development team to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitor environments and support deployment health
  • Participate in simplifying and improving the SDLC process

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ computer science or equivalent is required
  • 2–4 years of DevOps or related experience
  • Solid understanding of Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
  • Experience with TFS and Git: branching, merge, access, repo setup
  • Familiarity with Docker (image build, tagging, deployment)
  • Exposure to CI/CD concepts and automated deployments
  • Knowledge of on-prem deployment practices (non-cloud-native)
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred)
  • Exposure to MS SQL Server (preferred for DB integration tasks)
  • Basic monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
